Alice and I baked cookies today from dough I made a couple of days ago. I rolled the dough into balls and it was Alice's job to drop the balls into the sugar, roll them around and then put them onto the baking sheet. She got the dropping part, but misunderstood the last two steps. She thought I said pick up the dough out of the sugar and take a big bite out of it!

Gingersnaps
Alice and I baked cookies today from dough I made a couple of days ago. She is so cute! And gingersnaps are one of my favorite things about the holiday season!
i loved seeing the photo of alice standing on a chair and helping with the cookies. we have so many good memories of our children doing that. we have a favorite gingersnap recipe that looks similar too--we might have to make some now that you have our mouths watering. you have lots of fun days ahead in the kitchen together!
