I really wish we had a before picture--I just keep on forgetting to do that part. But just imagine blue and white striped wallpaper with a tacky flower border on top and a 20 year-old cream colored toilet and vanity.
If you're thinking, I've seen this wall color somewhere before, well you have. We avoided the trauma of having to pick out a new color by using the same one we put in the playroom.
The wallpaper was an absolute nightmare to get off--I think Bruce spent at least 20 hours scraping at it, using special chemicals, patching the holes it made when part of the sheet rock paper pulled off with it, etc.

Beautiful! (if you can use that word to describe a bathroom;) I'm so thankful we didn't have to deal with wallpaper when we moved into this house. Way to persevere!
