Halloween

The girls decorated their own bags to take out trick or treating.

We told Alice and Myra that for every 25 pieces of candy they gave back to us, they could have a dollar to put towards a toy they were working on earning.  Both the girls traded in 75 pieces, which went into a bag for Bruce to take to work.  We gave them one night of gorging and have been letting them eat a couple of pieces a day, but the candy is still going strong!  When will it end??????

Alice came up with this game the girls play occasionally with their remaining candy.  Alice is the trick or treater and Myra pretends there's a knock on the door.  Every time Alice comes to the door and says trick or treat, Myra will take a piece of candy out of her bag and give it to Alice.  Alice always wants to be the trick or treater and Myra obliges, so needless to say, Alice has about five times as much candy as Myra at this point.

Ha! Love the trick-or-treat game. I can totally see that same scenario happening with my kids. :)
