Pictures from Kansas

Mom and Dad made a last minute trip up to Kentucky for Thanksgiving last week and brought these photos with them of the Kansas trip.  They also brought up Grandma's piano and a whole trailer full of other goodies for us to enjoy.  Unfortunately, we also passed around a nasty case of stomach flu that was not so enjoyable.

And on the topic of grandmas, Quincy decided he was going to call every single person in the grocery store today 'grandma.'  It was cute the first time, when he said, 'hi, grandma' to a white haired lady who said, 'you're right, I am a grandma!'  Quincy then followed up with, 'love you.'  He got so much positive attention from this lady, that I think he decided he should try it on everyone.  The next lady who passed was in her 40s and not so excited to hear, 'hi, grandma.'  I explained that he seemed to be calling everyone grandma today and she said that made her feel a little better.  No matter who walked by, male, female, old, young, Quincy said, 'hi grandma,' and then followed it up with 'love you.'  Cute, but a little embarrassing at the same time.
