A is for Apple

Alice loves going on evening walks around the orchard and gets to bring home her own apple. We usually see deer and rabbits too. The other day Bruce thought she said "apple," and we are debating about whether it counts as her first word (besides mama and dada).

Here she is after a walk with her prize apple. She sat there for probably 20 minutes working away at it. That's pretty good considering she only has one tooth on top.

Taking a bite.

Savoring the excellent flavor.

Offering to share.

She is really just too cute Faith! And what a beautiful part of the country you are in. I am excited that you are so close to the Amish and Mennonites, that could be really neat to learn more about their lifestyle. Have fun exploring!
